Dr. Germans Boka is a resident physician at the RSU Clinic of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy. He obtained his medical degree from Riga Stradiņš University. During his studies, he worked in emergency medicine, providing care for patients in acute situations, and actively participated in student scientific interest groups in psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, and psychotherapy. His experience in emergency medicine demonstrated how essential emotional health is: people often suffer not only from the illness itself but also from their reactions to it—anxiety, fear, feelings of helplessness, and persistent inner tension—which can intensify suffering, reduce quality of life, and affect recovery.
He has a particular interest in the inner world of the individual, interpersonal relationships, and the role of emotions in overall well-being.
In his clinical practice, he is guided by respectful dialogue, empathy, and an evidence-based approach, working collaboratively with each client to develop insight and identify practical steps toward meaningful change.
“No one knows you better than you.
No one can speak for you better than you can.”
